VIO
Objective
The VIO project is an autonomous fan/heater hybrid that will follow a person in real-time as they move, It will be controlled via a mobile application developed by the team. The project's goal is to aid wheel chair users who can no longer self regulate their temperature.
What Will Each Section Learn?
Computer Science
The Computer Science section of the project will develop the app and will use ROS for communication with the robot.
Tools: ROS, Python, App Dev
Electrical Engineering
The Electrical Engineering team will design the interior hardware and mechanisms needed to power VIO.
Tools: Arduino, Raspberry Pi
Mechanical Engineering
The Mechanical Engineering section of the project will be in charge of all aspects of VIO's housing,
